Thank you for visiting my site! My work has been in many venues and shows in both Indiana and Kentucky.
I’ve had the opportunity to paint two of the electrical boxes on display around the city. Unfortunately, the one at Court and Meigs was vandalized but the second box, Flying Bicycles is at Court and Kentucky.
At the Floyd County’s Crit Club show called All Things, Jeffersonville, I was awarded a ribbon for my painting Bike Above. It was a reference to a bicycle that once hung above the shops on Spring Street.
Five of my paintings were on display for three months at Wes Banco in Sellersburg, Indiana. I also participated in two shows at the Howard Steamboat Museum. In addition, my one-man show, Meditation in Color was featured in the Explorer Magazine and a Jeffersonville gallery.
Joanne Triplett of Leo Magazine called my work “color centric” in response to my one-man show, People, Plants and Places.
I had the opportunity to paint nine separate 8′ x 16′ backdrops for the drama department at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church school. My work was so well received that I completed backdrops for four plays in all.
Kavier Forge in Louisville selected my painting Avocado Endure for Botanical Musings show; a show to benefit the Waterfront Botanical Gardens in Louisville. Later, I exhibited at another show at Kavier Forge.
Several of my paintings are in permanent collections. You Don’t Love me Anymore is at the International Bluegrass Hall of Fame in Owensboro, Kentucky. Won’t Back Down is at the Volunteers of America in Louisville and two seascapes are located at the Ronald McDonald House in Louisville. UPS purchased five works which depict icons of Louisville. Those now hang in their Refresh site (an employee lounge).
